Investing In You

Choosing therapy is an investment not just of time and resources, but of heart, presence, and deep care for your emotional, relational, and sexual well-being. At Aloha Spirit Therapy, I honor the commitment it takes to engage in this work and the transformative impact it can have across all areas of your life.

Our time together is not limited to what happens during a session. Therapy is a life practice that strengthens your capacity for intimacy, resilience, communication, and self-trust far beyond the therapy space. The skills, insights, and healing you cultivate here ripple outward, creating lasting shifts in how you connect with yourself, your relationships, and the world around you.

Your investment supports a therapeutic process designed for deep, sustainable growth. It's a process that honors the parts that are showing up and the future you are building. Below you will find information about current session fees and options for using out-of-network benefits if applicable.

Aloha Spirit Therapy is not paneled with insurance companies including HMO and PPO plans. Although we are not paneled with insurance, we are considered an “Out of Network Provider” and many clients with PPO plans have experienced their insurance company will reimburse a percentage of the therapy cost. Upon the client’s request, we provide a monthly receipt, diagnosis, and codes needed for reimbursement.

We recommend you contact your insurance company directly to ask about reimbursement for “out of network” individual and relationship counseling services.

Frequently Asked Questions

What issues do you help with in therapy?

At Aloha Spirit Therapy, I help individuals and couples heal, reconnect, and grow. I specialize in sex therapy, trauma, anxiety, and relationship challenges. Clients often come to me feeling disconnected, stuck, or overwhelmed. Together, we create a safe, compassionate space for meaningful change.

What is sex therapy and how does it work?

Sex therapy supports individuals and couples in navigating desire, intimacy, identity, and healing.
We explore topics like low desire, sexual pain, anxiety, trauma, and body image with compassion.
Sessions are talk-based, educational, and always tailored to your comfort and goals.

What is Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and how can it help me?

Internal Family Systems (IFS) helps you heal by connecting with parts of yourself that feel stuck or in conflict. Through compassion and curiosity, we unburden past wounds and restore a sense of wholeness. IFS supports trauma recovery, self-esteem, intimacy, and personal growth.

What happens in a couples therapy session?

Couples therapy offers a supportive space to deepen connection and work through challenges. We focus on communication, trust, intimacy, and emotional reconnection. Using IFS, attachment theory, and somatic tools, we uncover the needs beneath the conflict. Together, we’ll co-create a more connected, meaningful relationship.

Do you offer online therapy?

Yes! I offer online therapy to clients across California via a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. Telehealth makes healing more accessible, flexible, and comfortable—no commute required. Whether you're navigating a full schedule or prefer to meet from home, virtual sessions support deep, meaningful work wherever you are.

How long are sessions and how often will we meet?

Sessions are typically 50 minutes long. Depending on your needs and goals, we may meet weekly or bi-weekly. Some couples or individuals benefit from extended sessions (75–90 minutes), especially when working through deeper intimacy or trauma-related issues. During our initial consultation, we will discuss what pacing feels right for you.

Do you take Insurance?

I’m an out-of-network provider and can provide a superbill for PPO reimbursement. Many clients receive partial coverage. This approach gives us more flexibility— By working outside those systems, we have the freedom to create a therapeutic space that is private, flexible, holistic, and tailored to your personal goals — not just a set of symptoms.

How do I know if therapy is right for me/us?

Therapy is a powerful way to deepen connection, heal, and grow—whether you're working through challenges or exploring new layers of intimacy and self-expression. You don’t have to be struggling to benefit; just curious and open. If this resonates, I invite you to reach out for a consultation.

What if my partner is unsure about coming to couples therapy?

It’s common for one partner to feel hesitant about couples therapy. We welcome that hesitancy with curiosity, not judgment. Therapy creates space for both of you—without blame—to explore, heal, and reconnect at your own pace.

How do I get started?

Getting started is simple. You can reach out through my Contact Form to schedule a free 15-minute consultation call.
